The Department of Home Affairs has confirmed that the Nigerian family deported from Ireland earlier this year was taken into custody upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport. Responding to questions raised by ATM, the department stated that the family was transferred to Lindela Repatriation Centre before being deported to Nigeria. Authorities allege that the family had entered Ireland using fraudulently obtained South African passports.

A Pakistani man wanted in Germany over alleged kidnapping offences was arrested this week in a Cork City massage parlour, the High Court has heard. Khalid Kurshid, aged 57, was arrested after a European wide search for his alleged victim. A “high risk missing person” who is his daughter. He was found in a "massage parlour". But what I want to know is was she found there too? Is this a case of sex trafficking?

This is incredible… Indian migrants attacked locals in the Lvov region of western Ukraine. An elderly Ukrainian man is bleeding from his mouth. According to media reports, Ukrainians told the Indians they were being too loud, after which the Indians (possibly drunk) attacked them.

Government need to release social housing allocation stats for last 10 years. Every council, AHB and provider, the immigration status of every person who got a home, and how long they waited. If they refuse to release this general data, ask yourself what they are hiding and why.
