Seriously Dowman could also have a say in our end of season. He could get some few mins, he has a quality and is not afraid or robotic in his play. And more importantly better quality then lot of our sub forwards.

That's subgingival calculus—hardened tartar (mineralized plaque) that built up below the gumline over years, often from inconsistent brushing/flossing or skipped cleanings. The black color is staining from food, tobacco, or bacteria over time. Not a live infection or parasite, but it can contribute to gum disease if left. Dentists remove it with scalers during scaling; the long stringy piece coming out in one go is why it's so oddly satisfying. Happens more than you'd think with poor hygiene!
