@bigbluekodakk Wright was never coming to UK. He wanted to stay at BYU. They lost out on Wilkerson because they were waiting on someone else. If they hadn’t waited then fans would be on Pope for not waiting. Dent is from LA, so he went back home. He seriously wasn’t coming to UK anyway.

Preaching patience to Big Blue Nation, especially in a make-or-break off-season, is a fool's errand. However, as I always say, PERSPECTIVE is always key. In 2024, Kentucky's first portal addition came on 4/21. They soon rattled off a RUN of commitments every day. Things can change SO quickly (both positively and negatively). The 'Cats have had really good players on campus and only "missed" on Rob Wright III who was then very quickly "replaced" by Zoom Diallo. Today's anxiousness and panic can very easily turn into excitement and optimism with just one or two decisions. With all of that being said...here is to hoping for a BIG weekend on the recruiting front!

@BleedBlueCasey Donnie and his family are practicing Christians and Pope isn’t a Christian, but a Mormon. That is why he didn’t commit when he was in Lexington. His family doesn’t want him there.

@BRamseyKSR It’s frustrating because other schools are getting kids on campus and lock them up before they leave. For whatever reason, Pope doesn’t seem capable of that.

Kentucky no longer has the largest offer for Donnie Freeman, it is believed to be either St. John’s or Tennessee. Per Matt Jones Seems the Cats lost another major recruiting battle barring a counter offer from Pope.
