To me it seems the insiders are clueless. @KySportsRadio is the only one just giving his opinion and just admitting that. I believe there’s a ton of speculation being done. Pope, Stokes or others don’t want anyone to know what’s going on. IMO.

My theory: Stokes goes to UK. Why take a random unofficial if you don’t want to go there? He’s just playing this game back and forth all 4 money. I think he’s intentionally throwing off insiders just for fun. He’s playing a game and doesn’t care. IMO. Just my thoughts.

@KySportsRadio Speculation is at an all time high. I think the coaching staff is keeping this one close to the best and everyone freaking out or speculating absolutely know nothing about what’s going on.

If Pope misses out on all his top targets, people have a right to be frustrated But can we let that happen before everyone freaks out? There is no news yet on my end

UK fans may be the worst at getting a tiny bit of information & running with it 10 different ways. The narrative of things gets blown out of proportion. Let these young men are making decisions financially & mentally that they have to live with. Let the chips fall where they may.

Why do we keep talking about the best guys available? Is it April 7th? The portal hasn’t even officially opened. Yall don’t know the half of who’s going to be or not be in the portal. Most of the players out right now probably aren’t good fits. We shall see what happens.

Player jumps in portal. Kentucky fan, oh let’s get him, oh let’s throw a bag at him. He’s transferring so he needs to be a UK. Our fans are fans but they don’t understand anything about what really goes on or who’s really needed.

Fans tweeting down on players for not being 5* players are what’s wrong with this fanbase. Y’all think we should have 10 5* players on the roster. There’s a total of 6/7 on the 8 rosters in the elite 8. There’s only 15 per class. Y’all don’t understand how to build a roster.

It seems evident throughout the talks about players staying or going. Most of them talk very highly of Pope. Keeping players on a roster is an amazing feat in this era. It’s also great for continuity. Like it or not, if he’s able to keep most of them, let him do so.

I don’t think people get how wild the next 6-8 weeks is going to be for college basketball. UNC getting a new coach. Recruits and current players can go elsewhere. Same for Kansas. Same for schools that have their coach hired away. Lots of availability in HS and transfer portal.

Todd Golden is either going elsewhere or he’s not easy to play for. Aberdeen, Fland and X Lee all transferred or transferring. Lee’s comments are very odd to say he was undervalued.

I know all media and fans are thinking it. “What’s next?” “Who’s staying?” But can we not ask any of the players right after a loss or even same day. Geez. Give them some space. Ask them in a couple of days.

I don’t worry about recruiting as much as everyone else. We had a solid class and it got us no where. Moreno over achieved. I like the transfer portal, but you have to get players to fit your system.

Idk that I want a lot of players back from this team. Short list: Moreno - Made freshman mistakes. He will get better with time, practice and strength. Chandler - Has to get better on defense. Needs a PG to get him good looks. Williams - Same as Chandler That’s about it.

Oweh was special this season. Just sad he couldn’t be surrounded by a good PG to help lead this team. Too much was asked of Oweh and Aberdeen. I wish them the best in their future career. Oweh can really dominate with some space in the NBA. IMO.

Pope and Barnhart are so stubborn. Pope isn’t going to have things fixed next year either. Just have to see if the next AD can make a good hire in a year or two.

Pope isn’t going anywhere. But a lot of bad things this year is on him. He wants the hate. It’s on him. Bad decisions. Bad substitutions. Bad roster management. Bad bad bad. He gets one more shot at putting together a roster. But I feel this may be the same broken record.

I’m not saying the Refs have been awful, but it don’t seem fair. Oweh gets called for palming. Ole dude kicks the ball and nothing. Kentucky called more fouls. iSU reaching and fouling on every possession. Nothing burger.

Pope putting Jasper Johnson in to steal a little a minutes rest is one thing. But not getting him right back out of the game is why Iowa State got right back in this game. Terrible coaching. Jasper can’t hang on this level in this game. Wish he could.

Umm, they have the #1 nba prospect on their team. They’ve had a solid team all year. That’s the current season. They’ve been ranked all year but underperformed IMO.
