As someone who has spent so much time defending the Zimbabwean government, protecting the image of the nation, and fighting sanctions imposed by the West, it's disappointing to see the image of the nation being trashed due to arbitrary arrests of opposition members who are merely debating a constitutional amendment that ZANU PF itself brought to the public for mandatory debate. How can a few people tarnish the image of the entire nation just because they want to stop people debating a law that they proposed on their own, knowing that our constitution mandates the debating of the same law that they want? Why propose a bill if you can’t adhere to what is required to pass it? Why did ZANU PF give us this constitution if it doesn’t want to adhere to it?

This is very sad but sometimes y’all need to listen to me when I tell you stuff. I grew up in @edmnangagwa ‘s house and I know them too well. I think y’all don’t know who you are dealing with here, they don’t care about the constitution nor do they respect it. They are the ones who authored it and they can fix it to suit their narrative at any given time. In @ZANUPF_Official for as long as I can remember this plan has always been in the works and whoever has the military backing has the power. I don’t want to talk too much this time around because my man doesn’t want me fighting with my children’s families. He wants peace between us because the boys are growing up and I’m trying but it’s very hard . Anyway these guys will walk over dead bodies to get to where they want to be and they know there’s nothing that the citizens will do about it. Publicizing the proposed bill amendment is a way of just formalizing their plan so it can also look good to the international community. They are going to take charge of all the councils nationwide, if they haven’t done so yet. To be honest with you @ZANUPF_Official money is very expensive. All those MP’s should have never accepted their $40k bribes. Soon they will be discarded like toilet paper. Tendai Biti can only do so much but what y’all have to understand is that this is bigger than him and he can’t win this fight alone.I applaud him for standing up for the voiceless given the circumstances.
