MY NYSC IN MINNA When I was posted to Minna, Niger State for my NYSC, while in camp, I got a job of 120k salary. All my attempt at relocating to Lagos failed, omohhh, I wanted to go mad. I had no other option than to stay in Minna. I was posted to the Ministry of Justice. I got there and I wasn't impressed with the lifestyle I would be introduced to as a young lawyer freshly called to the Bar. I told them I would love to be in a law firm. I was told to find a law firm that could give me a confirmation letter to take me in as an NYSC Associate. I applied to Tanko Beji & Co, a week later, they rejected me. As I received the letter, strength left my body. I went straight to a Calabar restaurant in Bosso very close to FUT-Minna satellite campus. I had ordered and over 10 minutes, the attendant didn't bring my food, I was lashing out in anger. They brought my food and I was still eating with some sort irk. Unknown to me that a man was watching me all through my hungry-man drama. He came to me and asked "hope you are fine?". I told him straight that I wasn't fine at all. That could he imagine, as Corp member, I should be finding it hard to get where to work. He asked me of my discipline, I told him I am a Lawyer. He said I should finish my food that he would take me to the office of his Senator friend. Senator friend? I doubted him for some seconds. While I was trying to finish my semo, he actually called someone but the person didn't pick. He sent a message and and he said we should be going. In my mind, "don't let them kidnap you o" was the constant ring. I followed the man with one mind and he drove me to Cosmic Chambers and he took me to the HOC. The HOC handed me over to Mr. D.O. Omakor and I began my journey as a Lawyer. I AM VERY VERY GRATEFUL TO THE MAN WHO GOD SENT TO BE OF HELP. Frame 1: My first day at Cosmic Chambers Frame 2: One Month at Cosmic Chambers.
