Last year, I helped 40+ people get results and land gigs on Upwork in the last quarter alone. For this month, I raised the bar and set a target of 30 people. So far, we’re at around 25 people already, with most of them being students of The Upwork zHERO Bootcamp. You can join us here: Selar.com/upworkzhero The 30+ target is still very much achievable and the progress so far makes me very happy. However, the course has been on a discount at a giveaway price for two months now and it’s finally time to review it. For the value the course offers, the current price is a big steal. I practically showed EVERYTHING you need to win on Upwork. It comes packed with explanatory and practical videos, PDFs, templates, prompts, checklists, and a very solid support system. Check our full curriculum here: Selar.com/upworkzhero With the results we’ve gotten so far, I’ve definitely earned the right to review the price and I’ll be doing just that after this weekend. So between now and Monday, you can still get The Upwork zHERO Bootcamp at its current steal price. Join us here: Selar.com/Upworkzhero See you inside! 👊🏾

I don't have a picture of where it started, I started in the village, My phone then couldn't even take pictures, I took pictures with my mom's phone or any other device around so that I can post on Facebook then. In my Village, somewhere in Kogi then, Light was a luxury, there was a time we didn't experience light for over 3 years, I don't know the current state now. Glad I didn't give up, we still never reach anywhere sha, but we are progressing, that's all that matters.

The first picture was taken last December when I went home to my parents’ for Christmas. I insisted on staying in my old room because I needed to remember where I started. The second picture was in January. I took it immediately after I got back home. I’ve been staring at both of them for a while now, and the difference is undeniable. I’ve come so far and I’m grateful for every experience. Growth doesn’t always announce itself. I’ve been so deep in the work, the late nights, the struggles, and the quiet sacrifices nobody sees, that I stopped noticing the changes. But now, I look back and it hit me all at once. I’ve gotten a reminder that the process is working, even when it doesn’t feel like it. I’m grateful for every experience that shaped the person represented by that second frame. The hard ones especially. I’m also reminded that there are so many people like me out there. We’re still in the middle of a bigger journey right now, stuck between who we were and who we’re becoming. Let’s keep going. The gap between our before and after is being written right now.

I will never cut off a friend based solely on what another person says about them or on someone else’s experience with them. Not even if it’s another friend. I’ll definitely acknowledge what I heard, of course. But I’ll either speak to you directly, confront you about it, or take note and watch you more closely. Only after then can I decide whether to agree with whatever I heard earlier. Friendship is sacred to me, and I give my friends a lot more grace than I give everyone else. I’m not talking about the surface-level, “I know them” kind of friendship here. I mean actual bonds and the “I can rely on them” kind. Am I a hypocrite for this? Well, maybe. Regardless, it’s one of the reasons my friends trust me so much. But it’s also why lying is a big, big deal to me.

Being lied to by a friend, especially when there’s no justifiable reason, is a major issue and a valid reason to cut them off.

Nobody talks about this enough, but everything worth going after has a real chance of NOT working out. None of it come with a guarantee. And I think a lot of us know this somewhere deep down, but we still treat uncertainty like it’s a sign we shouldn’t try. The truth however is that risk isn’t some scary, avoidable thing. It’s just what we call it when things don’t go our way. The same action, the same effort, the same leap… one person lands it, another doesn’t. But many times, it’s not failure of character. It’s just probability. So when something doesn’t work out, it doesn’t mean you were wrong to try. It means you were on the unlucky side of an equation that everyone who’s ever done anything meaningful had to enter. The people who look “brave” to us aren’t people who avoided risk. They’re people who accepted it and moved anyway. You’re not being reckless for wanting something uncertain. You’re just being human. And taking that first step while fully knowing the risk is a prerequisite to get to your goal.
