Like Democrats in the US, Liberals and New Democrats here in Canada are increasingly coalescing around an anti-Israel, anti-Zionist world view. We can debate whether or not that amounts to antisemitism - in many cases it quite obviously does - but what’s not up for debate is that if you consistently oppose Israel’s right to defend itself against the likes of the Islamic Republic and its terrorist proxies, you inevitably find yourself on the the same side as those Israel is defending against.

I, too, could open a city-run grocery store in NYC with lower prices for food than existing neighborhood grocery stores if I had $30 million in taxpayer dollars and no property taxes and reduced construction fees and favorable permitting and also the city would need to take away current subsidies from those existing grocery stores so they could subsidize my prices while manipulatively raising prices for my competition and oh yeah I’m also gonna need three years to build it.
