@budapestmac Probably correct here. My post was just saying that I trust Cooley to find someone to replace Mack. I believe he can, but the pressure is very much on.

@LauDefender Rewatch any game from last season, Hoyas misfortune, blown leads, bad turnovers, blowing it in crunch time … ALWAYS HAD MACK AT THE CENTER OF IT. Without him, Hoyas easILY win 5-7 more games and are on the tournament bubble.

@LauDefender U clearly know nothing about basketball, so leave the meaningful posts to others. 🧐🤔😬 U ever thought they didnt want him back ??? This is addition by subtraction. What did i forget? Mayb useful off the bench, but not a starter, Hoyas play 4on5 with this guy on the court.

@LauDefender Not Big East level, too small, cant run point, bad judgement, poor decision making, excessive and inopportune turnovers who plays no D. What did I forget ? The criticism for Cooley is that he ran it back this season when u clearly saw he was trash his first season.

Let’s be real! Can Claude handle full-scale financial modeling on its own? Of course not. But can it significantly help you? Absolutely. We are still at the very beginning, exploring the boundaries of what’s possible. From what I’ve seen so far, simple calculations and basic models work remarkably well. The complex stuff? That’s where it gets tricky. We are only at the beginning, I'm exploring the possibilities. For now, I see that simple calculations and models are done well, while more complex ones are somewhat more difficult. First, when I do models via Claude, I still need experience to create such prompts to get even better outputs. Also, I need experience and time to learn how to perform control of the models that Claude puts out. We are moving very fast on the AI path, so every week, we have something new. If someone hates Claude in Excel, they should ask the questions: Where were we a year ago with this, and Where could we be in 3 years? The gap is closing fast. Don’t get left behind. If you want this Prompt and Excel model, just drop a comment and I’ll send it to you. (Important: follow me so I can DM you!)

@BobbyBancroft @BobbyBancroft always the negative “Nelly” D, over matched, i dont know, but was their 3rd straight game, which accounts for the poor shooting from deep and Mack and Mulready lack: physicality, ability to defend, and never box out. Without turnovers Hoyas hang with UConn.

Final UConn 67, Georgetown 51 Hoyas (16-18) completely overmatched as their season ends in the Big East semis Georgetown ended a 4 year BET losing streak but the season was a disappointment, finishing last in the conf in Ed Cooley's 3rd year. Lots of work to do in the portal.

@formalhoya1984 One trick pony who needs to: 1. Get in shape, 2. Improve physicality, rebounding and defense, this guy doesnt stay in front of his man and never boxes out, too many lapses on D, 3. Improve ball handling so he can help at the #1 (5-7 min per game), and play anywhere between 1-3.

Kayvaun Mulready last 15 games: - 24.5 mpg - 9.3 ppg - 3.6 rpg - 1.1 spg - 49/44/77 splits - 27 of 61 from three Really proud of 'Vaun for putting in the work. Now we're seeing the results of that effort he has put towards improving his game. Will be an important piece next 2 years.

Have a mismatch with Vince in the post and Mack decides to drive and dish rather than just feed the post up. He just has the worst instincts of any point guard I’ve ever seen.

When calculating 𝗪𝗔𝗖𝗖, I rely on various databases. Since I can leverage AI to search these databases, I thought: Why not delegate the entire calculation process? Can AI make all job for you. Definitely not. But it can help a lot. If you’ve ever watched gymnastics, you know how the judges determine the final score. We can apply that same logic here. To reach a final estimate, we gather multiple estimates from different sources. How it works: 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝟭: Your own traditional, manual assessment. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀: Various AI models providing their own data-driven outputs. Once you have all the "scores" in front of you, you can perform the final evaluation. Better yet, you can use the AI output as a rigorous sanity check, gaining a massive amount of input in a fraction of the time. Debt modeling shouldn't be a manual grind. It should be a strategic tool. To help you move faster, I’m giving away 𝟲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 for juniors that I use to stay precise: 1. 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗽: Automate excess cash application. 2. 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿: Dynamic liquidity modeling without the circularity headaches. 3. 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝘁: Clean, scalable amortisation structures. 4. 𝗠𝗲𝘇𝘇𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗲: PIK and warrant logic. 5. 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗕: Institutional-grade bullet and repayment scheduling. 6. 𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆: The "CFO View" that aggregates it all. When practice this, I owe you the truth. Templates are great, and you need to know how to build models like thiese, but they won't stop you from becoming a "Traditional Finance" dinosaur as AI starts taking over modeling entirely. If you’re tired of the manual grunt work and worried about falling behind the AI curve, maybe it’s time to stop just "downloading" and start "transforming." If you want these templates in Excel, just drop a comment and I’ll send it to you. (Important: follow me so I can DM you!)

I am sharing these templates more so you can understand certain relationships within a financial model, rather than for you to use them exactly as they are. I always encourage students to build their own templates and models from scratch, using mine only as a guiding framework. Now, here is what’s on the menu today. Headcount and payroll model Inventories planning model Revenue planning model Operating expenditures Capital expenditures Income tax planner Net working capital Equity schedule Goal checker Assumptions Learn how to align your model from setting the goals and assumptions to final model validation. @kevinsheehanDC @team980 Kevin ur wrong about Gtown game saturday night, they played Seton Hall at the Prudential Center in front of 9,000 people. Also Gtown playing at CapOne sucks but they draw decently against traditional Big East powers like UConn and Villanova, not sold out but solid.

@hoyatalk Just awful. Lewis is a player but makes too many to’s and throws up too much slop at the rim. Mack scores, but never when u need it, gives up as much as he contributes, probably more. His decision making chokes this team, bad passes and he’s a turnstile on D. Just too small.

@Kimosabe1111 @hoyasszn If this team had a pg, a wing that can create, a shooter, a physical rebounder, and rim protector, ALL would be good !! 😉 DHS shouldve stayed, with him Hoyas would b dominant with perimeter defense. His loss plus Vince out for 2 months, cratered season after strong start.

@Kimosabe1111 @hoyasszn Furthermore, instead of being additive with the above and creating for teammates, we have #2 that does the above and gives as many points as he gets if not more. Cant win with him, too small, cant/wont guard and ill suited to lead a team.
