Another Liberal Promise, Another Letdown
Mark Carney promised tax relief. The PBO just revealed the truth: most Canadians will save just $90 this yearโthatโs $7.50 a month. Seniors? As little as $4 a month.
Meanwhile, higher-income earners still get more.
Carney said heโd deliver real change. Instead, Canadians got four cans of tuna.
Canadians need leadership that delivers real savingsโnot broken promises. Only Conservativesย will cut taxes for everyone, for good.

๐จLiberals just adjourned INAN Committee to go on summer holidays even though it was only the first meeting!
There are many issues facing Indigenous and northern communities, across Canada, that need attention right now.
Liberals want to go on summer break.
Conservatives want to get to work.

IRGC officials already ARE in Canadaโliving freely on our soil for years, with the government's full knowledge.
Will PM Carney finally shut the door on agents of this brutal regime?

Canada and @MarkJCarney should feel proud to make THESE headlines on @i24NEWS_EN today. Its been said over and over again and reiterated by @jconricus "There is no political will to actually defend Canada"

BREAKING NEWS
The Prime Ministerโs top officials are โworking very closely with the the Prime Ministerโs office to manage all of the conflicts he has declared.โ
Manage conflicts?
The Liberals new law allows them to ignore every conflict of interest law in the country.
Conservatives are bringing forward amendments to keep the PM and the Liberals in line.

Bill C-5 is said to be about โnational interestโ projects.
Yet Liberals wonโt show a list of projects, keep saying that ๐จ๐ฆ is in a crisis, & hand individual Premiers a veto.
Either itโs a crisis requiring national leadership or itโs not. They need to step up & be transparent:

Just the Facts: Liberal Income Tax Cut Doesnโt Measure Up
Ottawa, ONย โย This morning theย Parliamentary Budget Officerย released his costing of the Liberal governmentโs personal income tax rate cut to 14% for the lowest bracket.
The Carney Liberals like to talk a big game, but once again they have failed to deliver. During the election,ย their platformย told Canadians they would โcut income taxes for the middle class and save dual-income families up to $825 a year.โ But PBO found that the average Canadian will only save $90 dollars this year, and $190 dollars next year. That is $15.83 per month, or about four cans of tuna.
For a lower-income senior the savings would be $50 a year, or $4.16 a month. Not even enough to buy an Egg McMuffin or a Timโs breakfast sandwich. A high-income senior with an income of $111,000 would save up to $330 a year. An elderly couple making a combined $260,000 a year would save up to $680, still short of the $825 Carney promised.ย
Carney promised Canadians change. He promised that his government is on a new path that will make life more affordable. Now that the election is over, he tinkers on the margins to save Canadians mere cents a day. Canadians deserve leadership that brings real change, not pocket change. Mark Carney canโt be trusted to deliver on his promises. Only Conservatives will implement big tax cuts for real, for everyone, for good.

SHAMEFUL
The federal deficit is on track to hit $50 billion this yearโwith the Liberal government refusing to table a spring budget.
Even the PBO canโt calculate the exact damage because the Liberals are hiding the numbers.
Canadians need to know how much worse things are going to get especially as Mark Carney spends more than Justin Trudeau. How much higher are taxes going to go?
No budget. No transparency. No plan.

C-5 enables the Liberal Government to exempt projects from laws like the Conflict of Interest Act.
Conservatives will propose amendments to ensure accountability from the PM & his Liberal government.

We are increasingly hearing from concerned constituents about the safety of their Canadian loved ones in the Middle East.
The Carney government needs to clearly communicate its contingency plans, so that if an evacuation is required those Canadians who want to leave know what their options are.
Our allies have made their plans known and are providing assistance and clarity to their citizens.
Canadians deserve the same from their government.

This is what I mean: Just now, Transport Minister Chrystia Freeland tried to malign CPC MP @LeslynLewis for asking why there aren't any limits on the bounds of C-5. The defence of "Oh, do you just hate building things?" Just a completely unserious answer.
Jamie Sarkonak@sarkonakj
Watching some snippets from the House of Commons committee on this right now. Liberals are essentially defending their proposal to circumvent any law they like with "just trust us," and even seem offended that they're being asked about amending the bill to add safeguards. ๐

I asked Finance Min. Champagne how many $$ Billions his Liberal Govt took out of Cdnsโ pockets in 6 years of the awful Liberal #carbonTAX.
The Finance Minister didnโt know the shocking answer: $45 BILLION!
I also asked re: a needed Bill C-4 amendment for #DisabilityTaxCredit.
