We appreciate that the federal government has recognized the significant impact work stoppages are having at the ports of Montreal and Vancouver and have ordered binding arbitration. Work stoppages like these have disastrous repercussions on our supply chains when critical infrastructure is involved. Our respective records speak for themselves.    What Albertans object to is the Bloc's plan to leverage the Federal Liberals to have Alberta and Western Canadian taxpayers pay for its separatist and socialist dreams while hypocritically blockading our natural resources as well as restricting the prosperity of Quebecers to enjoy the fruits of their own underdeveloped resources. The Federal Government must not permit the Bloc to hold the rest of the country hostage so that the Prime Minister can cling to power for a few more months before facing the judgment of Canadian voters.
