Dick is probably the finest author of sci-fi, he seems to come up with the most resonant ideas and along with Verne, Wells, Clarke & Asimov really set some incredible ideas.

My work is mostly from the stories of Philip K Dick. His writing is very dense but so packed with ideas and mostly about what reality might or might not be.
I tried to read William Gibson as he's considered the progenitor of cyberpunk but somehow I couldn't get into it.
I need to see what transmetropolitan is.
My work and ideas are probably not very original. It seems many people have been wondering and thinking about the same thing. I'm just adding on that cybernetics augmentation do not need to be metal or plastic based but wholly organically grown in a lab in forms not necessarily existing in nature
