@mdean1990 @GWLandTrust Funds are statutorily limited to three narrow uses, & disbursements are limited by further rules, & all must be approved by an appointed commission. That's pretty impressive as a series of gov safeguards. Probably nothing will be satisfactory, but I am impressed with the setup

Trying add a 3rd bag to an @AerLingus flight Monday EI137 DUB -> BOS. Website "manage my trip" can't do it. Facebook messenger agent can't do it. Call center hold at roughly 2hrs now. I just need to add a bag. Any suggestions? Thanks!

@AerLingus I do appreciate the apology, but your call center staff need attention. Hanging up on a customer after they waited on hold for two hours isn't "miscommunication."

@AerLingus The call center attendant told me I didn't need to add a 3rd bag to the ticket and hung up before I could speak. The confusing part, aside from the hang up, was that a couple of weeks ago a call center attendant let me add a 2nd bag and charged me for it, so this makes no sense.

Nantucket made the extraordinary choice to ban fertilizers in a last ditch effort to save their eelgrass - scallop ecosystem. It was a complicated choice, but they found it to be worth it, & the dark question is whether the MA state legislature will allow them to try to save 1/2

@bill_shaner Also, think of Boston, they until fairly recently, had 5 parks departments: - Boston Public - MDC - MA DCR - NPS - & TTOR's nonprofit additions At the same time Worcester had arguably almost 2: - Worcester Parks - A couple MA DCR facilities This is how capital cities benefit.

@bill_shaner Here's a trick, I learned it from a friend from Providence. They POURED money into the downtown core like there was no tomorrow, & starved infrastructure of the neighborhoods to do it. Providence is great for visitors & folks who live @ the central district, but sucks further out

You know I’m forever a Worcester apologist but it’s really stunning how much cooler a city providence is with roughly the same population and demographics
