@olsonplanner Yep. MD/PhD is kinda a scam, financially. Because it is Robbing years of MD earning. But practically it’s intended for scientists who don’t plan on doing wildly well reimbursed things.

At first glance it seems that saving during the PhD portion of the MD-PhD path is either impossible or it’s *somewhat* possible assuming you have a partner who earns an income as well. The stipend is $25-45k depending on where it’s at, right?
