@mr2000watts@Anthony_Hugo98@gummybear1315@hartzell965 Though I’ve not needed to ride the bus while I’ve been in KC, I rode the bus in/out of Philadelphia for two years. I loved the convenience and the friends I made (being with the same group of people every day) along the way. Our bus stops need to be better/safer for riders
@Anthony_Hugo98@celinatio@gummybear1315@hartzell965 Not b/c they can't, rather that ppl are scared of buses and think they're only 4 minorities & poor
Ur yuppie party train will be just that as long as it continues to work for and generate $$$ for only a certain class of ppl.
ANY rail system needs fed by a proper bus supplement
@Cozycustomer@mr2000watts@celinatio@Kylesfunhavings@gummybear1315@hartzell965 I can not because I don't work for either those businesses or the Royals. But you already know that. This happens every time new stadiums are built in downtown areas btw
As for acceptable pricing, based on buildings for sale in the area and the size, probably around $3 million
@hotchman@barelmann@Kylesfunhavings@gummybear1315@hartzell965 The goal is for people to drive their cars and park according to them. ‘The Royals have said there will be plenty of space for fans, citing 40,000 parking spots in the “greater downtown area” within a 20-minute walk of the ballpark, compared to 26,000 at Kauffman Stadium.
@celinatio@Cozycustomer@hotchman@Kylesfunhavings@gummybear1315@hartzell965 No one cried for me. I had to bite the bullet and welcome the "progress" with my limited resources. I recovered.
A Crossroads biz owner will have better resources to recover being displaced by a civic and regional amenity than I had for being uprooted for a block of McMansions
