I do think the wages part is the smallest issue for our existing players. Wages will increase but it's should be focused on the ambition of the Sporting Directors and Eghbali. They don't have the ambition to succeed. They are just businessman wanting to make profit

Enzo knows he can earn ยฃ250โ300k a week elsewhere and compete for the biggest honours. Chelsea have boxed themselves in with self imposed salary caps and a rigid model that simply doesnโt work at the elite level. Top players will always have options. Theyโll look at the money, the ambition, the environment and then look at Chelsea. The shit show. Managed my LinkedIn Liam. And this wonโt just be Enzo. Itโll be Palmer, Caicedo, Cucurella, Estaveo. Anyone with real quality will be constantly tempted away. The club wonโt adapt. Theyโll hide behind the model and brief that itโs on the player to try and control the narrative. Thatโs where we are.
