By far our best winger and probably our most influential attacker, behind João Pedro. Our best CB who really came into his own last season, helping us achieve our goals and exceed expectations.
Two pillars I’m excited to watch develop in Chelsea Blue.

We’ve just experienced one of the worst weeks in recent history, have a massive game against Everton tomorrow and I’m seeing people talk about a note Rosenior gave to Garnacho during the PSG game, when we went down to 10 men and he was CLEARLY making a tactical adjustment.
Everything gets scrutinized in modern football to the point where it’s unhealthy.

Mudryk’s technical ability has always been top, but his time at Chelsea has been limited due to lack of confidence. Of course, you rather not get suspended, but this time behind closed doors has probably opened his eyes.
His goal catalog for us.. He’s scored some lovely goals.

Players I think Chelsea will sell for a profit in the summer:
- Chalobah
- Tyrique George
- Delap
- Tosin
- Marc Guiu
- Andrey Santos
If it were up to me, I wouldn’t sell Andrey, but with all signs pointing towards an arrival in midfield, I wouldn’t be surprised if we sold a piece we already have. Again, I wouldn’t sell Andrey, or any of our midfielders for that matter. The transfer market is also unpredictable, so some of these players may not be sold at all and we could see a random name sold. Cucurella, for example.
Regardless, we are going to make a good chunk of change from sales. Now, it’s all about mixing that with money we’ll already have and improving the team while also dealing with financial restrictions (PSR, UEFA, etc.)

Premier League fans have been talking about the lack of quality within the League all season. For the ones who know, this struggle we’re seeing in the Champions League doesn’t necessarily come as a surprise. The top teams in the PL have been poor, bar Arsenal.
That, and the teams drawn by the Premier League in the UCL knockouts:
Real Madrid
Barcelona
PSG
Atletico Madrid
Bayer Leverkusen
In terms of THIS season, Real is better than City, Barca is better than Newcastle, PSG is better than Chelsea, Atletico is better than Tottenham, Arsenal is better than and beat Leverkusen.
This doesn’t mean La Liga, Ligue 1, etc. are better than the PL as a WHOLE.

Hopefully, priority number one is the CB position. LW and midfielder for sure, but look at who’s played the most minutes at CB for us this season… Not good enough for a Club like Chelsea. It’s a shame. For me, we REALLY stagnated when Colwill tore his ACL and the Club then told Maresca to find an “internal solution.”
English

I can’t stop thinking about where Chelsea/Clearlake go from here.
At minimum this summer, we need a left winger, a midfielder, a CB, and we have to pray that Colwill returns at the same level.
And these players all have to be good, otherwise we will repeat the same season. Does anyone actually think we can pull that off?

The Enzo Fernandez situation is an interesting one, especially since this is one of the most controversial players in the Chelsea squad amongst the fanbase. People either REALLY rate him as a player or don't rate him at all.
Regardless of opinion, if we lose Enzo in the summer it's a real indictment on the people running this Project right now and it's not a good look. Enzo is meant to be your poster boy, breaking the transfer fee record (at the time) for his services. He also joined the Club at one of our lowest points in HISTORY. He's one of our most experienced players, a true leader, and is the only player in the world who can say he's a World Cup Champion AND Club World Cup Champion.
Of course, this could all just be speculation and taken to the extreme (as always), but it does make you think...

Here’s a great example. A few months ago, my Cleveland Cavaliers made a huge trade before the deadline. We traded Darius Garland; a fan favorite, for James Harden; one of the best basketball players the NBA has ever seen. Garland is 26 and Harden is 36.
A big talking about was the age difference and how the Cavs got 10 years older. Well, Koby Altman makes these big decisions for the Cavs and here he is speaking to the media about this decision. ⬇️
Ashly Holder@AshNoelleTV
#Cavs President of Basketball Operations Koby Altman on acquiring James Harden and breaking up the Core Four: Altman said the move was all about opportunity and that Harden identified Cleveland as a landing spot. "James Harden has never missed the playoffs in his career, think about that: 16 years. James has played in 173 playoff games, logging over 6,000 minutes of postseason basketball. He’s playing at an elite level this year, and that helps us. That was the reason."

Communication is key. I don’t think this would solve the issues we’re having right now, but we have felt the tension between Chelsea Supporters and the hierarchy for quite sometime. I whole heartedly believe a lot of this could be dealt with if people within the Club communicated to the fanbase.
A few questions that need answered:
1.) What are your TRUE goals for the Club?
2.) You’ve owned this Club since 2022, do you think you’ve made REAL progress?
3.) Be honest about whether they view players as, well, players or assets
4.) What do you look for in a player (ie, mentality, work ethic, skill, etc.)
5.) Lack of FOS sponsor
There’s plenty more, but these are just a few examples. I know the Directors don’t *have* to speak to the fans, but this is one thing we see here in the states. For example, at the end of every NBA or NFL season, the GM’s (Directors) have a press conference, answering whatever questions the media might have and giving their thoughts on the situation the organization finds itself in.
I’ll say it again: communication is key. No, it wouldn’t fix a nearly broken relationship, but it could be the start of something. Be open and honest with how you’re conducting things.

I get it, everybody will pile on Chelsea because it’s the “cool” thing to do right now, but that so called “most expensive squad in history” beat you 3-0 earlier in the season

Neal 🇦🇺@NealGardner_
This is what the most expensive squad in football history gives you? Against a PSG side who’ve been struggling too, btw.
