A new $10 million RFS Area Command will soon be built in the Coffs Harbour airport precinct.
And it's certainly needed, as it will also house the RFS rapid deployment helicopter to be stationed in the region.

Remote and rural communities in western NSW will benefit from 4 new rescue vehicles handed over to the Louth, Euston, Pooncarie and Menindee Brigades. Each vehicle, worth $160,000, will help increase the capability of emergency services provided to this part of the state. #NSWRFS

Great interagency training with @NSWRFS crews and @NSWSES members which means they work seamlessly when needed most by the community

#NSWRFS helicopter rescue scenario training is underway at Grose River. This training in the Penrith and Lower Blue Mountains area will continue through until Sunday, helping to make sure our members are ready to assist communities when needed.
