@momagainstanimu @newdaynewjess @atomicthumbs Admittedly despite being curious about many things I can't quite muster the same curiosity for the finer details of current gen AI. It somehow always loses the brainspace custody battle.

@clydeshaffer @atomicthumbs I guess I was being generous in trying to find avenues they might reasonably expect this approach to hold up to future model training, but if that's literally what's in play here it should have been trivially obvious this couldn't stand as a long term solution.

@Breakdown64 @DamienMcFerran @Daley_Kong Kinda came off as pretending that Oblivion didn't employ an obvious cue when objects were interactable. Your ability to perceive things about objects in the game is going to be capped by a limited rectangular window into the world. Designers have to tackle that problem SOMEHOW.

@Breakdown64 @DamienMcFerran @Daley_Kong Except when you put your reticle over openable containers in Oblivion the cursor changes and you get text saying you can open the thing. Such immersion wow

@DamienMcFerran @Daley_Kong I checked every barrel in Oblivion on the daily to find apples, cheese, and an occasional lockpick without them being painted banana yellow. I do think gamers could survive without the color hints, it's part of the learning curve of the game.

@MisterAddons Sadly, yeah. The image on the 5X is otherwise nice and crisp but the hues are a little off.
