@JeremySCook @MicrochipTech I'd add 100nF cap on each power pin just to be safe.
As for USBLC6, it has 4 independent IO. You won't have a USB connection if you don't move D- label from Pin 6 to Pin 1, and move D+ label from Pin 4 to pin 3.

As for the caps, I think that is the conventional wisdom, but datasheet only lists two caps (UCAP and VBUS) as far as I've seen.

If you're a relatively new EE and want to level up, dig deep on connectors. Board to board, wire to board, wire to wire, all of 'em. High speed data? low speed data? Power? Digital? Analog? High volume product? Low Volume product? Orders of magnitude cost and labor differentials around every corner.
