i happened to be on this x space yesterday. ngl, i couldn't believe ppl struggle so much to be monetized and to keep it running. someone said he used to do 500-1000 replies in a day (imagine). i was like how is that even possible for a normal human being to do 1000 replies in a day ? i have to believe that ppl are really trying so hard for Elon bucks and i don't blame them actually. CT is no longer a thing. It lost its identity the moment crypto became institutional. Before, CT was made of people with a shared story of being early and misunderstood. We’re no longer either of the two. And because the story we believed in no longer exists, the only thing that kept CT together was a shared desire to make money. And that never happened for two reasons: Retail, who were supposed to raise the tide that lifts all boats, never came. This led to liquidity being scattered across a small pool of people, resulting in a PVP dynamic. Most lost money this cycle and were better off holding cash. So yeah, CT as we know it is dead. It no longer has a story worth uniting around, and the selfish motive of making money which kept it alive no longer works.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ The only solution is finding a new story worth uniting around. Until then, it’s down only.
