"Gauthier, who has been trying to get a wheelchair ramp installed at her home for the past five years, testified on Thursday that a caseworker told her that they could give her assisted dying, even offering to supply the MAID equipment for her." ctvnews.ca/politics/artic…

Euthanasia is routinely offered to Canadian seniors unsolicited. Muriel says she was offered MAID: •By her family doctor •By a specialist •By a funeral home “This is almost being advertised and promoted,” she told me. How do you think this makes seniors feel?

A terminally ill mother has called on peers to reject the assisted dying bill as she fears it could be a danger to disabled people like her. Her fear is shared by others in an exclusive poll for ITV News, UK Editor @PaulBrandITV reports. itv.com/news/2026-03-2…

Students are taught that questioning psychiatric orthodoxy is anti-science. Residents learn to see human suffering through the lens of DSM categories and pharmacological solutions. Young therapists are trained to validate diagnoses rather than explore the possibility of growth through difficulty. And we wonder why nothing is getting better.

What the hell is going on? This is disturbing. I understand this is a gray area. I understand there are cases where people are terminal, in unbearable pain, and want control over how their life ends. But that’s not what this is supposed to look like. When someone is being offered death by multiple people, instead of being met first with support, treatment, and real care, something is broken. End-of-life choice should be exactly that, a choice, not something that starts to feel like a suggestion. Because the second death becomes easier to access than proper care, we’ve crossed into something else entirely. And that’s what people need to pay attention to. This isn’t about denying suffering. It’s about asking why the system is getting better at offering death than it is at helping people live with dignity. 📣 MOST OF US IN CHRONIC PAIN, CHRONIC ILLNESS… 👇 WANT TO LIVE.

In autism the difference activists assert they are autistic, not people with autism. Those (including parents) who considered autism a disease/disorder campaign for better recognition, prevention, treatment and support. This disagreement has become heated. Why is this?
