Back when I used to train at the UCLA track, I’d always see the sprinters laughing, stretching, joking around. Every five or 10 minutes they’d run a sprint and then go back to laughing. The 10,000 meter guys always looked miserable. Plodding around the track, grimacing. Pain.

Buying organic coffee is a waste of time...if you don't clean out that brand-new coffee grinder. Manufacturing residue and industrial chemicals still remain. What do you think causes that "new appliance" smell? Get it clean by running 5-10 loads of cheap coffee through the grinder. That way, you don't ruin your good coffee, and you aren't poisoning yourself with other chemicals.

@gregogallagher I have hunger on my cut but hey that is a part of it. It’s called discipline for outcome. Just make it manageable 👍

The hunger is gone. The mental battle is gone. The night time cravings or weekends that used to derail everything, gone. All that’s left is the protocol. Three workouts a week. Two daily meals and a dessert. Getting leaner every day without a single moment of suffering. This is what the smartest, most optimized men in the world are quietly doing right now. Most people haven’t figured it out yet. The window is open.

@gregogallagher For sleep, the hierarchy actually looks like this: 1️⃣ Circadian rhythm / sunlight timing 2️⃣ Consistent sleep window 3️⃣ Body temperature rhythm 4️⃣ Stress / nervous system state 5️⃣ Food timing 6️⃣ Darkness at night Supplements are far down the list.

The best supplement for sleep by far is saffron. 15mg in the evening. Better than magnesium Better than inositol or apigenin Better than melatonin But so few people know this. And the longer you use saffron, the better your sleep becomes.

@gregogallagher Will you at some point if able to be adding it to your supplement stack that you sell? I know in the beginning you were anti-supplements and just used coffee and sparkling water. So you have been adding an arsenal of supplements to take to chase that lean state and make it sustai

@KenDBerryMD @BrianWiley_ Creatine 3-5g is the one and only supplement I started using after about 9 years of being a true carnivore. Long term Inam thinking it is the one supplement that may add benifits for a modern human.

@gregogallagher So are you now cutting calories even more and compromising recovery or do you still do the same amount of calories on your cut? It just makes it easier for you because you’re maybe cutting too much before.

GLP-1s are too good to be true. There must be some hidden catch. No. Drugs like Tirzepatide don’t magically melt fat. They simply make you feel full sooner and stay full longer. That’s it. The fat loss happens because people eat less. For decades the problem with dieting wasn’t knowledge, it was adherence. Follow a solid meal plan, get steps, lift heavy and use the lowest effective dose and you just remove the hunger bottleneck.

I was against using GLP’s for a long time. Even though I knew it was mostly about misuse. The more I studied. The more I realized how game changing these are. Most haven’t studied these and are throwing around flippant opinions without any deep research.
