I didn’t say it was OK but we have to acknowledge this problem didn’t just start with Gaza or even Oct 7th. This was decades in the making. Remember, the Palestinians could have kicked out Hamas like Jordan did to the PLO or Egypt did to Islamic Jihad. Arafat rejected the two state solution in 2000. Then the Second Intifada happened. Then the Palestinian people elected Hamas to represent them in 2006. All this matters as to what is happening now.
