We've made history! @bscox and I are the first ever Labour @wealdendistrict councillors in 50 years! I'm blown away to recieve 52% of the vote in Uckfield North - people here will no longer be taken for granted by the Conservatives!

Just been to the polling station with my mum to vote Keith Wilson for Labour. Keith loves our community and is passionate about making a positive change for Uckfield. Keith will give everything he has for our community and a vote for Keith is a vote for Uckfield.

A busy day talking to Uckfield North residents about issues ranging from planning and pavement parking to water leaks and @sewateruk. A big well done and thank you to North Row residents for resurfacing their road today - it is a huge improvement and the road needs to be adopted!

I've spent this afternoon thanking residents who had a poster up, collecting them for next time! These locals did a brilliant job of representing the widespread support we received last week.

I'm so honoured to have been elected to represent the little red spot, Uckfield North. We've made history here, now we're going to secure the change we badly need!

First visit to the Council offices ✅️ I wonder how many of our previous councillors have done the 40+ minute bus journey to and from Hailsham? Buses are a lifeline in rural communities and I'm proud to use them! #buscouncillor

@TomGuytonDay Pleased to hear you've done it Tom - I'm pleased to say that the Uckfield bus was definitely being used today. I think the £2 bus fares have been a huge benefit, one of the few things I would applaud from this Government!
