@Spdrmnkyxxiii This is just conjecture. The Duffer brothers being terrible writers doesn’t mean DD would’ve dipped in quality. There were scripts and plans laid out for S4 and 5 written by Erik Oleson and the other Netflix writing staff, whereas ST had no outline. This is a bad comparison

Hot take but Daredevil wouldn't have stayed flawless on Netflix.
If it kept going, it could’ve easily gone the Stranger Things route. Inflated budgets, flashier visuals, weaker writing over time.
The real difference?
Daredevil ending early saved its legacy.

So I looked it up and literally the MTA employees multiple times would give him their shifts because they knew him so well. And he did the job so well, passengers loved him.

The concept of using black panels to replicate comic shading isn’t a terrible idea.
It’s just executed so poorly here because the base red is so dark that the whole thing just looks muddy.
