If United had spent 92 million on Tonali and 85 on Fernandes I've got to say I'd be over the moon. We'd have our three midfielders in by the first week of July, two of which are ready for pre season. Yes it's expensive but that's the price you pay to be ambitious now.

@fullback03 Any fool can overpay a transfer fee and player wages to get who they want. It’s the easiest thing in the world. The difficulty is you end up with average players on top dollar.

Tottenham going so early in the window (whilst also going so big) has caught everyone on the hop. Other clubs have been asleep and not had their ducks lined up in order. There’s just confusion everywhere. You have to give the board huge credit after mucking about for years.

I was one of those football fans who actually wanted Tottenham to stay in the Premier League because the North London Derby is one of the biggest fixtures in English football. But the way they're moving in this transfer window is starting to worry me. They're recruiting well, strengthening key areas, and if they keep this up, beating them won't be as straightforward as many Arsenal fans think. The North London Derby is about to become even more competitive.
