hands down my biggest pet peeve is when a story focuses on a group of ppl being marginalized by powerful elites/ruling class & start preparing for armed resistance but then that one huge fucking dork pipes up like “wait but guys…. using violence makes us no better than them :(“

I'm kinda curious about how nails (specifically fake long nails) fit into patriarchal beauty standards, they do restrict what you can do depending on the length, but men I've noticed seem to violently hate them no matter what the length if they're not "nude" or "natural"

@dancerswhirl I think so too, obviously there's the aspect of limited mobility when having long nails, like opening cans for example that can be looked into, but there seems to be this hatred of more expressive nails that people consider trashy, so I would say it's more for women
