I confess I'm shy to admit it, but... I liked his characterization, I loved it. It's exactly how I imagined him. Much better than the unflattering pictures people create. That's all I'm going to say about it. I sincerely hope he does justice to the character. Good luck, Paapa!

I find it funny that people always say the reason they don't accept Snape in the new series isn't racism, but that he doesn't match the book description at all. But it's funny how the only character whose appearance isn't canon-accurate that they complain about is Snape. There are other characters who don't look the same either, like the Dursleys, yet I haven't seen any complaints about their appearance. How strange
