Not sure if one is allowed to heap praise on someone else nowadays but I wanted to say that I do ever so much enjoy it when @SallyBundockBBC is on the news. I’ve said it before. It’s the news I want in the way I want it.

I really enjoy @SallyBundockBBC in the morning and I was really impressed at her pronunciation of ‘Murcia’ this morning. Impressive because no one I know can pronounce Spanish place names at all.

@dknights I noticed on a flight to the EU from Britain the other day that almost all the Brits around me were watching the iPlayer on their iPads and phones. A pity British tv has all but disappeared from European platforms and providers. I’d like to watch that programme.

I keep having this nightmare where I live in a world without Ian Hislop from @PrivateEyeNews and it’s quiet, corrupt and awful. Then I wake up and remember that one day this will be true. 😢
