@lecrin The squealing! But actually the apartments were nicer than I was expecting for that budget. But so “compact” as you say. Ex holiday rentals by the look of it. But made a nice change from all the depressing urbanizaciones.

@anniebennett The word “compact” was doing much heavy lifting. I’ll not be watching her new series on her purchasing and renovating her own new place in Spain. She was never so over the top excitable in the earlier days.

For the first time in my life I was able to travel from my local train station today because after years of campaigning they’ve finally built lifts. I can’t tell you how happy it’s made me.
