I used to be a developer like you, then I took an arrow function in the knee. - Stay curious.

@MuenzenMeister Indien ist extrem teuer. Es mรผsste deutlich unter einem Euro liegen, um fair zu sein. Ich finde gut das dieser Missstand angesprochen wird. Es geht uns eben doch extrem gut!

Bin seit gestern Abend in Delhi. Jetzt gehtโs zum lunch mit Freunden. Mal kurz geguckt was Uber hier kostet:
Strecke: 7,4 Kilometer
๐ฎ๐ณ Delhi Tuktuk: 1,05 Euro
๐ฎ๐ณ Delhi Uber: 1,74 Euro
๐ฉ๐ช Berlin Uber: ca. 17 Euro
Gleiche Strecke, gleiche App. Fรผr den Preis einer einzigen Uber-Fahrt in Berlin komme ich hier auf 10 Fahrten. Oder 16 mal Tuktuk.โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
Lieber tuktuk oder Uber?

@elenabrooksyy @luxemiaa Why do people need to change seats and dont use the ones they paid for? Whats the reasoning behind it? I am also a frequent flyer and a father, it never strikes me to ask somebody to change their seat with me.
English

@luxemiaa oh please, as a mum of two i wouldve switched in a heartbeat for that family. u really guilt-tripped the wife over a lap baby just bc u paid extra? typical entitled woman who cant stand seeing parents struggle. kids come first always, not ur window view. selfish much :)

@ELNVdc @Robert_Ziehm I didn't say anything against you, so why do you see the need to defend yourself?
English

@devcreationsDE @Robert_Ziehm I was commissioned as a US Navy officer in 1983. I started an Individual Retirement Account immediately and bought a house with a VA loan. I put money in the stock market every paycheck for 30 years. In that time the s and p rose 3000 percent. You do the math.

it sucks how you only get sick days off work, you should get your best days off too. if i'm feeling awesome i don't want to ruin it by going to work

@WellThenOkNow @throwawayx36553 @TreasurerHack @CarlZha level of industrializationโฆ rather look at the median of industrialization and not the peakโฆ
English

@throwawayx36553 @TreasurerHack @CarlZha That doesn't mean much, Chinese currency is way too under valued.
The level of industrialization allows the production to be too much to consume, the cost of everything is extremely cheap.
Like if a person makes 100 thousands in CA he's poor but 80 thousands in Iowa is fine.

@ELNVdc @Robert_Ziehm So many people on X are in the top 5% income bracket of the US, it is amazing!
English

Sneer more. Highly valued employees in the US get more time off than Europeans. My daughter is a doctor. She makes $325,000 a year and works one week on and one week off. Her on week is 12 hour shifts for 7 days, then 7 days to do whatever she wants. If she wants more than 7 days off at a time she trades shifts.
My son is a software engineer. He makes about as much as his sister. He has unlimited paid time off. Unlimited. He's taken months off at a time to travel in Asia.
The US is a meritocracy. I'm sorry for you that Europe is not.

@PatronesHumanos Both of you are right. If you start your relationship like that, everything is always a result of negotiations. Your relationship is essentially a play in politics and that is never going to change. Learn to make deals or breakup.

You completely ignore the fact that most modern, successful civilizations are the result of centuries of "vicissitudes" and the blending of different groups. Even with your reductionist approach, you are ignoring the fact that the most successful people in our economy are migrants or their descendants.
English

Our personal vicissitudes in life are not relevant for population and society talks. So it happened that you married someone from another part of the planet.
In terms of population group its bad. See, contrary to proto-marxist he'll bound on destroying the "old" to create the "new man" mantra, diversity is awful to a population group. It destroys Social Capital at astonishing speed.
English

@ESG0228201 @OlympusMons99 @JoeyMannarino My wife is a migrant. I brought her here. So my kid is also a migrant in this statistics. My wife brings different traditions and my kid will inherit some of them, as it will inherit mine. Whereโs the issue with that?
English

@OlympusMons99 @JoeyMannarino Did you read what you wrote?
Are you sure? You said there are 30% of people migrant descent and not migrants. What's culture and traditions are passed from migrants to their descents?
English

@rlance573412 @SVRGNapparel @suresh_elonbro @Gabbar0099 What is weird? The text clearly says that healthcare isnt free. Monthly cost in my income bracket in Israel would be around 700$. I pay roughly 500$ per month in Germany.
