@devwraithe lets see, if I wanna sync maybe then, but its not like i can do claude code stuff or wanna do claude code stuff outside of my computer you know
claude code and obsidian is always the power setup. just saying.
I dont even publish my vault and all local. I wonder if I should switch to local llm soon.
gm.
so i don't understand orderbooks. been reading articles for a week, understand the math behind it, but the best way to actually get it is to build one from scratch.
initialized a repo and started diving deep with @boomheadvt. writing the whole thing in pinocchio with unsafe code (but in a safe way). using mollusk for testing as always.
we have a lot of experiments to run and plans to execute. this is a learning project - goal is to understand orderbooks with unsafe, down to the metal.
also thanks to @vinayapr23 for the guidance.
Eid mubarak to y'all 🌙 Wishing each of you a blessed Eid filled with love and happiness, may this Eid bring you closer to your dreams and fill your life with success and joy. ✨
Also please touch some grass and spend time with your loved ones. This is the second Eid-ul-fitr without my father. Truly miss him.
What if these side missions of mine could be turned into actual products? 🤔
Welp, need to get them out there first to know if they've got the potential or not.
@e_backhus If it's a programming langauge, what works for me is to learn the foundations and build stuff. If it's a cultural language, you can learn from any medium as long as you have someone to speak it to I can read Spanish (kinda) but can't speak it, because I learned from Duolingo 😂
Is it just me or things feels quite boring here now?
I’m finding more fun by going into Reddit.
I see devs doing stuff and I’m like damn that looks good so I gotta try that.
@me256ow Yeah, me too! But I use VS Code with no AI subscriptions so I'm free from auto-completions. But I still use AI to better explain stuff for my understanding. Btw, how do you decide a project is big or small?
@devwraithe This makes sense! At first I thought I should have bunch of production grade levels project but then I decided one big and two smaller ones.
Also I’m trying to write all code by hand (no ai and no autocompletions)
I’ve been sitting with my plans and thoughts of career progression.
I keep asking myself, where I am at, what do I need to do to get where I want to go, what’s missing and stopping me to get there.
Just getting started with my next phase now. A lot of projects planned but too little time to ship it all. 🦀
@me256ow For example, my next step is getting a job, which means I need a portfolio, which means I have to build production-level projects to add to the portfolio, which is what I'm doing right now 🤝 You catch my drift?
