I often think about how these kind of interactions and visual flourishes seemed more abundant when we had less powerful computers / phones. Now we have ultra-powerful GPUs, CPUs and 300+ DPI screens and we use them to mostly display ‘buttons’ that are just blue text on white.

A thing I believe might be true is that a lot of musicians like listening to their own work, old or new. Because they are their best audience; they make for themselves first. So I wonder how other artistic mediums fare? Actors often claim they don't watch their own work...dunno.

@cw The closer modern languages get to each other syntactically, the harder it gets to remember which one you are working in with regard to these small differences.

My Dart thinking keeps interfering with my Typescript thinking in the smallest parts of code. Not about async handling or event loops or lazy initialization but: Types before or after a function argument? Oh, right. Trailing commas at ends of lists? Oh, right.
