I just turned 46 today, thanks for all the birthday wishes! 🕹️🎂 It’s been an amazing year... I visited to Italy and Paris with my wife, got some of my art on display in Austin city hall, lost 20 lbs, perfected focaccia, rescued 9 cats, and released many cool projects.

The story behind this plot was a bit of an adventure. It's 5'x2', and I plotted it using a one-of-a-kind prototype Bantam Tools Artframe. I wanted to demonstrate the process to people at Bitforms for my opening party, 282 miles away from my house. So, I started the drawing in my dining room in Vermont and paused the plotter in the last 25%. I carefully packed it up with the drawing still in the bed, then loaded everything into a vehicle. From there, I drove to Peekskill, then NYC. We unloaded the machine in front of the gallery, brought it inside, and then set it up. I readied a pen, homed the machine, and pressed go. It resumed the drawing in the exact same location, without any difference. I harp on precision a lot, and this was my greatest feat yet. Bringing an in-progress artwork across state lines and finishing it on location.
