@dmpk91 @ArneTheGreatest @williameijer Poor guy doesn't understand that Leave It to Beaver wasn't real life. 😬
English

@zhiheather @ArneTheGreatest @williameijer Sorry but moving goalposts will not be tolerated just because you have down syndrome.
I choose the most successful period of the most successful society in the history of the planet that pisses women's rights and has a TFR of 3.5 instead. In other words, I choose heaven on earth
English

@dmpk91 @ArneTheGreatest @williameijer Sorry, not available at this time.
How do you feel about Somalia?
English

@Alexand70608635 @FriendlyBot2000 @eurofounder @NXT4EU Brussels is a shit hole and it's irreversible. Only 1 in 10 people under the age of 18 in Brussels are ethnic Belgians. The rest are mostly third world biomass.
English

@FriendlyBot2000 @eurofounder @NXT4EU >says retarded thing
> gets mocked for being retarded and third world
"Ohh no look like someone couldnt take it"
English

@ArneTheGreatest @williameijer Which of the high TFR societies do you want to live in?
English

@MehradAA @patrickbetdavid @JDVance I disagree with all 3 parts. 100s of thousands of targets and they would start mass conscripting millions. You're not even gonna find let alone have the ammunition to kill so many. Arming the opposition sounds good only on paper. The IRGC would also flee to the mountains.
English

Very clear, The plan that Bibi had was to carry it out in the very first weeks of the attack: targeting the regime’s street suppression forces, disabling the regime’s repression machine, arming the opposition, and capturing Tehran.
With the capture of Tehran, the regime would collapse overnight, and there is no doubt about that.
English

I love this message from @JDVance.
Very fair and accurate.
Never-ever undermine or take for granted your greatest ally.

I think NATO could establish air dominance over Moscow in a week
Saint Javelin@saintjavelin
A few years ago, nobody would have believed it. But this is Moscow today.
English

@KyleSGibson @maxmarchione Don't believe them lol. Literally nothing changes if the entire planet believes them or not. They don't have investors. Either the machine works or it doesn't.
They should certainly not publish anything. Might as well give instructions to the Chinese so they skip R&D.
English

@maxmarchione Why should anybody believe a word they say with no paper no research no verification no hi-res version of the supposed scan
English

what I love is that they made it a spa instead of a clinic
you go to relax, spend 60 seconds in the water and walk out with a scan of your body
great way to make it a regular habit for people

@darkschneidr @Pirat_Nation Far better than humans. Hallucination rate has decreased a lot with every new release. This is an outdated opinion. By the time this device is located close to you, AI will hallucinate as much as calculators.
English

@Pirat_Nation Ah yes, now bringing hallucinations to your healthcare.
English

Midjourney, the company behind the popular AI image generator, has unveiled what it says is the world’s first full-body ultrasound CT scanner.
>The technology aims to make full-body imaging safer and more affordable.
>During the scan, people are lowered into water while ultrasound waves create detailed 3D images of more than 25 organs and body structures in about one minute.
>The scan uses no radiation.
Midjourney is working toward FDA approval for future diagnostic uses and plans to bring the scanner to market by the end of 2027.

English

@KyleSGibson @operationdanish Stop being a bitch. The company doesn't owe you shit. Their machine either works or they won't make any money.
They certainly shouldn't publish any research. Might as well send instruction manuals to potential competitors and lose their headstart.
English

@operationdanish haven't really described any research they've done or plan to... but are making lofty claims about how they're shipping 50k scanners in two years... i see this and think "overpromise under-deliver" not excitement
English

Easy for a bunch of doctors to hate on this but they’d probably say the same thing about MRIs back in the day.
Yes, the quality of the images are not great and this technology has a ton of obvious limitations, especially since we haven’t seen any research data on performance, BUT…
It’s time to be optimistic. I can’t wait to try this.

@pteridoid @Robotbeat Probably aging too if we're lucky and David Sinclair's hypothesis turns out to work.
English

@Robotbeat We're going to cure most major diseases and afflictions his century, aren't we?

@michal_dolnik @0xkydo So basically a startup with immense talent, speed and agency. They have survived against AI giants.
Only companies like this can disrupt healthcare. Not rent seeking incumbents.
English

🤯 Midjourney -- yes, the AI image company -- just shipped a brand new type of imaging machine. 🤯
- 100x faster than an MRI.
- 10x cheaper.
Full body scanned in 60 seconds instead of an hour in a tube. Ultrasound based, MRI-level resolution.
And it's real -- not a concept, a working machine. You step into a shallow pool of warm water, a ring of half a million sensors sends sound through your body from every angle, and ~60 seconds later you have a 3D map of your insides down to a fraction of a millimeter. No radiation, no tube, no lying still.
They're not even building it as a hospital machine -- they're building a spa. The scan is a side-effect of a place you'd want to hang out anyway.
Lastly, it is built by 9 people. NINE PEOPLE.
You can just do things.

A technical dive inside our new "Midjourney Scanner"
English

@sihulton @itsolelehmann We'll have to wait and see. If they're lying, they're not gonna make money so they're just wasting their time.
English

@itsolelehmann Can you share any evidence to back this claim:
“MRI-level detail”
English

i absolutely love "pure" startups like midjourney
> took zero outside money
> fully bootstrapped
> profitable since basically week one
> doing around $500m a year
> with a team of like 150 people.
which means when the CEO david holz decides he wants to build a sci-fi full-body scanner...
one that lowers you into a pool of water, maps your insides with MRI-level detail at ~100x the speed of an MRI, with no radiation and no giant magnet, there's nobody he has to convince.
he just builds it.
because there's no board or VC asking how a medical spa fits the image-gen roadmap or what the TAM looks like.
founder control is the cheat code.
it's what lets someone make the cool, risky, slightly absurd bet everyone else is too scared to even propose.
more companies like this please.

@7tressIess @Polymarket Tech can actually improve believe it or not. Especially this kind of tech.
English

@Polymarket bold of the extra-fingers guys to get into medical imaging
English

@MehradAA @patrickbetdavid @JDVance Ok so explain what you want to happen. Conditions for regime change are not here. The IRGC will just shoot and kill another 100,000 people. Ground invasion could probably work with 65% probability but would destroy the republicans politically so it isn't happening.
English

No, they didn’t have a plan at the beginning and also blocked Bibi’s plan. We haven’t asked to drop a million bombs. Trump has sent many contradictory messages, from regime change and encouraging the people of Iran to rise up, to having the best deal with the “good people of the Islamic Republic”!
English

@KEriksenV2 @elonmusk Canada is a lost cause. Canadians and specifically older canadians simply don't know how to vote.
English

Elon Musk has no problem with calling out the clear problems occurring in the UK, but says nothing about Canada.
Why is that @elonmusk ?
English

@Allen1sKing @FaytuksNetwork Great input. Prepare for a packed Supreme Court of 12 communists and president Newsom with carte blanche. There's no middle ground.

English

Vice President Vance issued a blunt warning to Israeli cabinet members criticizing Trump:
“If I were in the cabinet of the Israeli government, I might not be attacking the only powerful ally that I have left.”
Vance said Israel should remember that “two-thirds” of the defensive weapons protecting the country were “built by American hands and paid for by American tax dollars.”
He added: “The problem for Israel is not Donald J. Trump,” saying any Israeli official who believes the U.S. president is Israel’s biggest problem “needs to wake up and smell the reality of the situation that country is in.”
English

@MehradAA @patrickbetdavid @JDVance They took a risk and it didn't pay off. Deal with reality. The US is strong but it isn't God. It doesn't have the will to do another invasion after Iraq. Not even for a crystal clear moral goal. What are you suggesting the US does at this point? Drop a million bombs?
English

@patrickbetdavid @JDVance He has pulled down Trump to his swamp. You will see the results in November for sure.
English

@Allen1sKing @FaytuksNetwork He's just seeing the writing on the wall. The US- Israeli partnership is built on shaky foundations. He will have to deal with a predominantly anti Israel electorate when he runs. Unlike Trump.
