I have been in @iapindia for 40 years and 36 years as life member. Changes & initiatives are scheduled but they are dynamic & have been initiated as and when they were needed, thanks to the positive attitude of all preceding leadership. Other misused drug’s are Salbutamol, Terbutaline etc which are Asthma medicines. Montelukast is allergy medicines but a dangerous one is used indiscriminately. It is useless for common cold & cough which are 99% viral !! Cetirizine is also for allergy not for infections !! Azithromycin, Cefalosporins, Ciplox etc are antibiotics which should not be used when not needed !!

Okay, I went to a general physician for my cough and cold checkup. OPD charges were 750, and medicine cost 1000. I think I can still afford it, but it shouldn’t be this expensive.
