The issue is related to the salt and other de-icing products used on roads in response to the cold and snowy weather we’ve been having. Airborne particles get caked onto and can cause problems for overhead distribution lines, especially as the weather warms up.

One thing I've learned over the years. If you link to some article in your project, download a copy to your local machine. That way you can reference or recycle if it's ever taken offline.
