I posted the originals post in December 2024 and received a lot of hate. Now I am updating my thoughts based on the reality on the ground. My 2024 posts suggested maps that may help with long term resolution. I am posting another one today. I REALIZE THAT IT WILL BE CONTROVERSIAL TO SOME OF YOU. Some of you will hate it... These points reference the new map attached to this post: 1. The religions need to be separated. Multi-religious association has not worked till now. 2. Christians need to have their own nation as originally created (purple outline). Extends to the south to buffer Israel from those who wish to annihilate it (Christian leaders who are traitors will be defeated and dealt with somehow). All Palestinian and Syrian refugees will be deported out of this region. Christians in Syria can relocate to Lebanon via a land-property swap. 3. Druze need their own nation (red outline). Extends along the southern Syrian border to buffer Israel from those who wish to annihilate it. There will be a land-property swap so that Druze living in other parts of Syria will relocate to mainland Druze nation. Jumblatt is defeated and dealt with somehow (I will leave it up to the Druze themselves to figure it out). 4. Kurds get their own nation (yellow outline) 5. USA-controlled strip to join Kurd area with Druze, Christians, and Israel. 6. Alawites get the coast (brown area). 7. Hezbollah badly lost. They have to leave the south and Beirut. They can cram into NE Lebanon. There will be a land-property swap so that Christians living in NE Lebanon will relocate to mainland Lebanon. 8. Tripoli can join Syria if they wish (yeah, I hate that but Tripoli is a hotbed for Sunni radicals). There will be a land-property swap so that Christians living in NW Lebanon will relocate to main land Lebanon. 9. Let the haters hate. You all know real well that even though some of us are able to get along with other religions peacefully, the radicals overcome us. Long term, the only possible viable solution is segregation. 10. A NETO Alliance is formed, similar to NATO but stands for "Near East Treaty Organization" and includes Israel, Christian Lebanon, Kurd nation, Druze nation, and possibly other like-minded nations. I suggested the NETO idea back in December. Tough times require brave ideas. I am offering a brave idea... We are all sick and tired of the radicals and of war.
Imagine Israeli-American Air & Naval Bases in Western Syria. The Russians bases in western Syria should become NETO bases. Yes, NETO, this is not a typo. NETO = Near East Treaty Organization. NETO Members: Israel, Lebanon (liberated), Kurds, Druze. No Hezbollah nor Hezb allies or sympathizers. Alawites and all Lebanese are included as long as they are not Assad or Iran or Islamist oriented. NETO Security guaranteed by USA (and maybe NATO). NETO may become NEMETO as part of the Abraham accords: NEMETO - Near East Middle East Treaty Organization. NEMETO adds: Gulf countries, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait. All must renounce Muslim Brotherhood. Advantages: 1. The biggest advantage would be to reduce the importance of the US Incirlik base in Turkey. We don't trust Erdogan! 2. Trump makes deal with Russia to stop the war in Ukraine via non aggression treaty. NATO will not use Ukraine to attack Russia unless Russia attacks. 3. Russia vacates Syria. 4. Iran defeated and vacates Syria. 5. Assad and close knit group exp*re in fierce fighting. 6. Hezbollah totally defeated and expelled from Lebanon (to where? I don't care). 7. Druze form a buffer zone in Southern Syria. Protects Jordan and Israel. 8. Christians form a buffer Zone in Southern Lebanon. Protects Israel. 9. Average Alawites (general population) are protected in Western Syria from Sunni majority (and from rebels) who are in the remainder of Syria. Alawites will be Western-aligned, not Russian-aligned. 10. A mixed buffer zone in Syria along the Lebanese border to buffer out Syrian Islamists. Details TBD. 11. Why not? Rebels are taking Syria by storm.
