The Buffalo shooter was not a deranged lone gunman - he was aided and abetted by hateful philosophies and rhetoric, a gun-obsessed culture, poor mental health services, and most of all silence

I’m horrified and sickened by the events in Buffalo today. My heart goes out to the Black community as they suffer yet another major trauma at the hands of a hateful bigot. Domestic terrorism is real, but it’s not new. We need to start taking it seriously.
