When a chamber of Congress changes party control (in either direction, this isn't a partisan issue) the committee websites change and it's hard to find older materials. Any efforts to reform this or tips I've missed? @mollyereynolds @kevinrkosar @pahlkadot @librarycongress

@amandalhu When we wrote it, we meant it. Over half still brought gifts. I gave up and started bringing children's books as gifts. Just picked a favorite for each year and gifted that one at all birthday parties unless we knew the child well. Starting Jan 1st, new book.

So is it like a neurodivergent parent rite of passage that your kid gets a birthday party invite that says “No presents please, your attendance is gift enough” and then you show up with just a card and all the other parents brought gifts or

If I can’t get to the exit from 4th floor Rayburn & walk however far I need to (assume two to three miles) I don’t buy the shoes or wear them to the Capitol campus. & yeah, I have some heels that still meet this standard. fewer each year as my 👣 protest more

@ashleythetexan @AshleyGWinter This. We put a ziplock bags in both parents backpacks as well as food and toys. Empty ziplock bags are useful to, as well as earplane ear plugs.

As someone with a baby who needs to fly with said baby in the near future to see relatives who are a 5.5hr flight away looking at Twitter today has been pretty terrifying.
