One of the biggest changes under PM @narendramodi has been that the #PadmaAwards now honour India’s silent nation-builders, not just the famous. Guru Sangyusang Pongener is one such hero. By training over 2,000 young artists and preserving Ao Naga folk music and dance, he has kept a priceless part of India’s heritage alive. His Padma Shri is a well-deserved recognition, not just of one individual, but of countless grassroots custodians of India’s civilizational heritage.

Most fathers don’t do anything unusual. They simply do what fathers are meant to do. They show up. In the stands, at the dinner table, during difficult conversations, through failures, celebrations, worries, and dreams. They may not always have the perfect words. They may not always get everything right. But their quiet presence often becomes the foundation on which a child builds confidence, courage, and security. Sometimes, the greatest thing a father can do is simply be there. And that is no small thing ❤️ Wishing all fathers and fatherly figures out there a very Happy Father’s Day. M #FathersDay #ThankYouDad #UnsungHero #ForeverGrateful #Father #EnergizeYourMind #YouCanHaveItAll #LifesAmazingSecrets #TheWayOfTheMonk #Monkify #MonkifyYourLife P.S. Father's Day isn't easy for everyone. If this day brings up pain, loss, or difficult memories, your feelings are valid too. Wishing you peace, healing, and kindness toward yourself today ❤️

I AM AN INDIAN…. A LONG VIDEO, BUT A MUST WATCH AND SHARE! ❤️🇮🇳🇮🇳❤️ A few days ago, I received a WhatsApp forward. I read it, smiled, and kept it aside. But something made me go back and read it again. And then again.🥹 Some of the observations and facts mentioned in it struck a chord. They reminded me how easily stereotypes are created about us in the West! And how often those stereotypes miss the essence of who we really are.🇮🇳🫡 That is what inspired me to make this video. Not to prove anything to anyone, but to remind ourselves of something important. We Indians are wonderfully different. We are diverse, contradictory at times, emotional, resilient, chaotic, compassionate—and yet uniquely connected by an invisible thread.❤️‍🩹 So this video is a small celebration of that spirit. A celebration of being Indian. Here is to all of us. Watch it, smile, reflect, and perhaps feel a little proud. And Share!! 😍 I am an Indian. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳 #IAmAnIndian #Pride

National-level shooter Tara Shahdev. In 2014, she married a man named Ranjeet Kohli, but later discovered that her husband had concealed his religious identity and was actually Raqibul Hasan, posing as Ranjeet Kohli. Raqibul Hasan, his mother Khushaar, and Mustaq Ahmed, a vigilance registrar, pressured her to convert to Islam. She was even beaten and tortured, but she refused to convert. Later, she was rescued and hospitalized. Then, she decided to fight a legal battle. Nine years later, in 2023, a CBI court sentenced Raqibul Hasan to life imprisonment, Kushshar to 10 years, and Mustaq Ahmed to 15 years. Tara Shahdev fought her battle bravely for nine years. If this can happen to a national level player then you can imagine what would happen to an ordinary girl.

His name is Anand Kumar. He grew up in Patna, in a family that had very little. His father was a clerk in the postal department who could not afford private schooling, so Anand studied in an ordinary government school. There he fell in love with one thing completely. Mathematics. He was extraordinary at it. As a young man, his work on number theory was noticed, and his papers were accepted by mathematical journals. Then came the moment that should have changed his life. He won a place at the University of Cambridge, one of the greatest universities in the world. He could not go. His father died around that time, and the family had no money. The seat at Cambridge slipped away. To survive, Anand helped his mother sell papads and wafers on the streets of Patna. But he refused to let go of mathematics. Because the local library did not have the advanced foreign journals he wanted to read, he would travel every weekend to a library in Varanasi, study all weekend, and come back. He began teaching students in a rented room for five hundred rupees a month, starting with just two students. Then, in 2002, a poor student came to him who desperately wanted to crack the IIT entrance exam but could not afford coaching. That one boy changed the direction of Anand’s life. He started a programme he called Super 30. Every year, he would select thirty of the most talented students from the poorest families in the country, the children of labourers, farmers and rickshaw pullers. He would teach them, feed them and house them completely free for one full year, preparing them for the hardest entrance exam in India. The results stunned everyone. Year after year, almost all of his thirty students cracked the IIT exam. In some years, every single one of them did. Hundreds of children who were never supposed to escape poverty walked into the country’s top engineering institutes because of him. The boy who lost Cambridge because he was poor has spent his life making sure poverty stops taking that seat away from anyone else. Follow for stories India deserves to remember.

Went to a Chart Thela tonight. A Delhi Police jeep stopped, and the officers openly took whatever they wanted, snacks, drinks, whatever, and drove off without paying a single rupee. I asked the vendor, “Bhaiya, don’t they pay you?” He just went silent. His face said it all, fear, helplessness, and exhaustion. This is the level of Delhi Police (@DelhiPolice) today. Not protectors. Not law enforcers. Just uniformed extortionists preying on poor street vendors who are barely earning their living. Shame on this police force. When the people meant to uphold the law start looting the common man so openly, the system has rotted completely.

Barack: You told me all those years ago that you couldn’t promise me the world, but you could promise me an interesting life. Of course, you outdid yourself and managed to give me both. Eight years in the crucible, and not once did you melt from the heat. Not once did you let it harden you. Instead, you used it to reveal your truest essence: your stubborn optimism and unflinching courage, your dazzling brilliance and unpretentious decency, your ferocious work ethic and absolutely unshakable moral fiber.

#WATCH | Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh: Wife of deceased Chief Marine Engineer Patnala Suresh, Bhargavi says, "... Three seafarers lost their lives. Why should the Indian crew die? So far, no one has responded properly. I am directly asking the PMO office. What support will be provided for families? I also raise this question to the US government... My husband was the only earner in our family. How should I raise my children..."
