The editorial wants India to work within the SCO to end the Pak- Afghan conflict.
This conflict arises from unresolved ethnic, territorial, Islamic ideological issues between the two countries.
Plus Pakistan’s long-standing ambition to control Afghanistan.
We should limit ourselves to give political, developmental and humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
The argument that we should intervene to protect the women in Afghanistan sounds virtuous but is peripheral.
