#Isles need to honor the extraordinary seasons they’ve received from Matthew Schaefer and Ilya Sorokin by playing the best possible lineups for each of these last ten games, regardless of misguided acquisitions, veteran status or anything else. What a shame it will be if stubbornness from Darche and Roy costs them a berth when the team is good enough to make it and have the invaluable playoff experience.

Sometimes, I wonder why I do this work. I wonder why I work so hard to elect Republican majorities into office & — when we are in power — our very elected officials don’t wield or harness that power. I wonder why I lose sleep, miss family vacations, & put my personal life on hold, so wealthy Senators can go on paid vacations after not achieving the very promises they campaigned on. Sometimes, I wonder if they truly care about us & if they actually want to represent the will of the very people that elected them into positions of authority. I will tell you this: if the Senate ultimately does not pass the SAVE America Act, I will use all of the energy, hustle, & organizing efforts we used to elect these Senators into office as tools to peacefully & respectfully defeat them in their upcoming elections.

@RTaub_ I agree. Their performance has been very disappointing over the past couple of weeks. They seem to stumble mightily the first home game after a road trip. They need to show some sense of urgency and dedication to the cause in every remaining game

On Dec. 4, the Islanders were in a playoff spot with 33 points. They were just two points above the cut line in the East. The most margin they had in terms of a lead for a postseason spot since then was 6-7 points before they fell out last week. This narrative they were locked into a playoff spot is ridiculous. Now up until two weeks ago, did they put themselves in a position to really distance themselves from the pack? Yes. They have failed in that time. They need more from everyone.

Processing time was a bit longer, costs differ by location but it was not difficult. If the costs are prohibitive each site had the option to reduce or waive the fees with proof of need.

For shits and giggles, I decided to see just how hard it would be to replace my birth certificate, Social Security card, AND my marriage license, since Democrats think women are too stupid to figure it out. Here's how it went: 1. Birth certificate: Contacted the health department of the county where I was born. They OVERNIGHTED a certified copy to me the next day - total cost, $14. 2. SS Card: Contacted Social Security on their site. They asked if I was sure I needed the card, since I 'won't likely be asked for it.' I went ahead and got it - took five business days to arrive - total cost, $0. 3. Marriage License: Went to the 'vital docs' site of the county where we were hitched. Filled everything out online, arrived in three days - total cost, $5. It cost less than $20 to obtain all three certified/legal documents, and it took less than five business days to receive them. Note: if I had lived where I was born or married, it would have been a day. Tops. Anyone telling you this is too hard or unfair is lying and hiding the real reason they want to stop Voter ID. I know you guys knew that already... lol

@MikeObs029 My concern with playing the younger players can be taken as giving up on the season. Ownership will not be happy as that impacts revenue. This team of late is very erratic and way too sloppy defensively
