I had a mechanic I worked with, he would smoke on the weekends, he came in one night got a slip he had a random CDL drug test in the morning. Some of the drivers apparently kept some sort of crap u could drink to help you pass the test. All night he worried and drank that crap, going to the bathroom to “flush” it out. He went for the test and turns out was just for alcohol, not drugs😂. Didn’t stop him from smoking weed though, or getting fired when he finally tested positive.

I’ve seen a lot of people suggest that I should smoke weed to help chill out my mind. While I get that argument, I cannot. I have a CDL. The DOT have ZERO tolerance for weed. Even if I smoked on my days off, the random drug screens that I take EVERY TWO MONTHS….(random my ass) will flag me and I’ll lose my commercial endorsement on my license. Now, while I hate this job, it pays the bills. Back to opioids I go…(kidding)

I’m starting to really dread each coming day. I’m not gonna sit here and claim that my life is horrible or that I’m worse off than a lot of people, but I’m struggling to find reasons to keep going, knowing I’m just left sitting alone at the end of each day. From sunset to sunrise, my own mind gets loud and cruel. I’ve lost interest in everything I used to enjoy and I’m not sure how much longer I can keep pretending everything is gonna be alright in the end. Seems to be just another lie I tell myself so I don’t hurt the few people who still care. They say, God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. Idk if that’s true, but if it is, I’m not sure how much longer I can keep fighting…
