@faraz_r_khan Look into allergies towards surrounding landscape. Turns out I was off the charts allergic to rye grass and Olive trees. What did we have on our acre lot? You guessed it.

I’m convinced that something in my house is causing me to get sick. Is there someone I can hire who specializes in finding this out? It’s not black mold or common vocs. Every time I leave for a few days my nose and throat get instantly fixed - only to be scratchy and blocked when I return home. The pattern is too hard to ignore. House is a new construction made in 2019.

@metapreston It’s More than that - Anthropic is counting top line partner revenue whereas OpenAI is counting revenue net of partner fees.

We hired a teenager to implement AI in our business. He's a senior in HS doing ~$6k/mo. He takes calls in-between classes (i've been on a google meet with him from his HS cafeteria). Unreal - he's mostly focused on working with agencies/B2B services. If anyone wants an intro, happy to facilitate. (We're still early on and dealing with standard implementation challenges, but seeing some good early results and I'm very bullish on what we'll achieve in Q2).

If I told you my company raised $20M today I’d be getting a flurry of messages and congrats. What a signal! If I tell you the revenue and profit, it’s meh. Cool man. Nice little business.

You asked. You're gonna get. The Agents Episode #001 is coming soon. Not another AI hype show. We actually run 20+ AI agents at SaaStr. This is what we're learning in real time. Episode 1: → Clay raised prices ... or did it? Their own AI support agent told us we now owe 5x more. Is your AI agent properly trained on what it's actually selling? → Why we got 72% open rates on 1,000 leads our human team ghosted for 6 months. No Lead Left Behind. → Salesforce buying Qualified — the smartest GTM acquisition in years and nobody noticed. It's Go Time. → 80% of databases on Databricks are now created by AI agents, not humans. Replit already made it the default. But who maintains them? You? → Claude found thousands of zero-day vulnerabilities before launch. So when do you actually trust an agent to act alone? And the latest on our two AI teammates — QBee (AI VP of Customer Success) and 10K (AI VP of Marketing). The big wins — and the hallucinations. Because this stuff isn't magic. And we're not going to pretend it is. We're 3 humans and 20+ agents running an 8-figure business. Revenue went from -19% to +47% YoY. This is what an Agentic Life actually looks like week to week. The Agents. Episode 1. Dropping this week.

@asanwal Honestly, it’s really what the coach did the change the arc of his life - not what he did

During 7th grade soccer season, we were coming back from an away game And one of the really great players (fast AF, strong, etc) on the team mooned a car behind us That driver followed the bus back to the school And he told the driver and our coach that number 7 on the team had mooned him Our coach went apesh1t And #7 got kicked off the team effective immediately He was effectively labeled a bad kid after that and he lived upto the billing He did boy isht before that and maybe pushed the boundaries here and there, but he wasn't a bad kid to that point But his 'bad boy arc' really began then and continued with him throughout high school. Almost like he had to live up to a standard that the mooning incident set for him. The people he associated with changed as he was no longer friends with the kids on the soccer team once he got excommunicated This story doesn't have much of a point, but it's an event that has always stuck with me One definitely stupid but relatively benign thing number 7 did in middle school completely changed the course of his life Of course, I'm sure someone will argue that he was "destined" to be bad, but I don't believe that I've always wondered how coach might have handled that differently to still send a message that this was unacceptable behavior without throwing him off the team What would you do?

a huge risk factor for openai is that media acquisitions by tech peeps have an almost perfect track record of destroying the editorial credibility that made the outlet valuable in the first place. bezos/wapo is the canonical example, it's now widely perceived as captured regardless of actual editorial independence. openai buying tbpn likely immediately makes every piece of tbpn coverage read as propaganda to exactly the audience they need to persuade (policy elites, skeptics, etc). i wonder how they thought through this risk structure (the deliberations would've been fun). but ~$200m is peanuts to openai so prolly worth doing regardless.

Apparently Edward Jones recently launched a private client service group for people with over $10mm in assets. I would love to see the Venn diagram of people with that kind of money who choose Edward Jones as their wealth manager.
