i feel like being spicy. so here's where web3 messed up and why we are building @stayinprocess: 1. Virality ≠ Community chasing virality built a speculative audience, not a real one. people came for flips, not for feels. and when the hype died, so did the “community.” 2. Tools lacked soul we kept building tech for tech’s sake. no rituals. no emotion. no real culture. tools dropped with no heart, no onboarding, no love. people don’t stay where they don’t feel. 3. Jargon ≠ Accessibility "onchain," "mint," "modular" — we spoke like a secret club. but movements move when they invite. not when they alienate. 4. Too many pivots, no vision we pivoted for capital, not for truth. and when you're always changing the game to please investors, you forget why you started playing. 5. Clout over Craft we prioritized presence over process. hyped creators over honest ones. loud over layered. art became content, and content became noise. → solution: fund depth. back artists who are building something lasting—not just trending. 6. Events over ecosystems everyone threw parties but forgot to plant gardens. flashy, fleeting vibes with no follow-through. → solution: design for return. build experiences people want to revisit, not just attend once. 7. No protection or education for the vulnerable scammers ran free. the same marginalized folks the movement claimed to uplift were left unprotected, unheld. → solution: ethics and care infrastructure. moderation, safety nets, clear values. 8. "Decentralized" in name only power just shifted hands—not disappeared. founders became the new gods. → solution: give tools and decision-making power to communities. not just tokens—real say. 10. No memory web3 moved so fast it forgot itself. every few months was a new season of a show with no storyline. → solution: archive. reflect. create living lore. let people enter the story and grow with it.
