Today I just watched and learned about โAI and Blockchain with Optimum CPO Sajida Zouarhi and Obol CTO Oisรญn Kyne.โ It was a very interesting topic, and here are some key insights I took away:
In my view, AI has long been used across various fields such as machine learning, recommendation systems, data analysis, and image or video processing.
However, as technology evolves, AI is now moving toward AI agents systems capable of performing tasks autonomously and making decisions on their own. Rather than replacing humans, AI is designed to assist and enhance human productivity.
As the demand for AI continues to grow, especially in the future, there is an increasing need for infrastructure that can support these systems to operate efficiently, quickly, and at scale.
This is where @get_optimum becomes relevant.
Optimum is a Web3 infrastructure project focused on building a memory layer and networking layer to improve how data moves within blockchain systems.
Through technologies such as RLNC (Random Linear Network Coding) and its protocol mump2p (OptimumP2P), Optimum helps to:
- accelerate data propagation across nodes
- reduce network latency
- improve bandwidth efficiency
- and enhance overall scalability
This becomes especially important if, in the future, AI agents operate on blockchain, as they will require:
- fast data access
- efficient communication between nodes
- and real-time responsiveness
Therefore, Optimum can be seen as an infrastructure layer that supports the future integration of AI and blockchain by ensuring that data can move quickly, efficiently, and at scale across the network.
