They have 8,000 cr reserves already and paltry 1300 cr in investments. W.r.t market conditions they might want to beef up the investments columns and good valuations in complimentary industry and then shareholders can enjoy permanent extra eps which could also result in recurring dividend. They won’t do this.

Why do #Silver Bulls always bend in front of the bears around Delivery dates on comex? Perhaps explains why Silver has always been in tight low range for decades - no big players to tame the bears ever.

My guess is they are trying to make an extra buck using futures. Say buy Gold 3 months down the line when it has fallen a lot - take delivery if needed. Else just sell if it rises 5-10%. If there is any notional loss, let the fund digest it. I am not sure they will pass all profit to the fund though 😂
