@TheRileyJay @xx_xyathletics @writersully When swimming against men Lia ranked 65th in 500 freestyle and 554th in 200 freestyle. Switched to women’s and gets 1st and 5th in the same events. It’s like magic. Nothing unfair to see here, women just need to be better and work harder, right?

Right wing forces infiltrated Black spaces through sports and hip-hop. Every election cycle there’s a new “character” tasked with the job of sowing doubt and animosity towards the political process among younger Black men.
I’m not here to tell you who to vote for, all I’ll say is that this trick worked and you all see the consequences: Black history being ripped out of history books and museums, targeted firings of Black people in government jobs, skyrocketing Black unemployment, grants and funds for Black people destroying under anti-DEI initiatives. We have to push back on these clowns who are paid to sabotage our community.

When Someone Says Natives Were Conquered:
Conquering the Natives of America is exactly what someone says when they don’t know history. If the U.S. had actually conquered Native nations outright, there wouldn’t be over 365 treaties signed with them. You don’t sign treaties with a people you defeated — you sign treaties with nations you can’t defeat militarily.
So you negotiate, bargain, deceive, and eventually break every agreement treaty once you want the land. Then when Natives responded decimating the USA at battle of little big horn, the USA responded with massacring the women, elderly, and children. So why fight an opponent that has no honor? Then kidnap the children to break a people and their traditions.
Real conquest looks like immediate occupation, not legal contracts acknowledging another nation’s sovereignty. The U.S. didn’t beat Native Americans in one clean war; it used disease, forced starvation, massacres, relocation, biological warfare, broken promises, and political manipulation because they couldn’t win outright against every nation.
That’s not conquest—that’s theft, betrayal, and violating your own agreements. Saying “get over it” doesn’t erase history. It just shows you were never taught it.
The Native Americans are still here and an example of human resilience in the face of extreme odds.
They are still practicing their traditions boarding schools tried to erase.

Today, my family went on a family trip to Flagstaff. We walked into a quaint sandwich shop, and a young woman approached to take our order.
